Kenyan tea and Coffee are reknownedd world over for their refreshing aromas and blend quality. The History of tea in Kenya dates back to 1903.
This tour takes you to one of the Oldest tea Farm in Tigoni, Limuru. The tour is Hosted by the Third Generation owner of the Expansive tea Estate.
Arrive at 11am and over a cup of tea or coffee the history of the farm and process of making tea is informally explained, followed by an opportunity to see tea in the field.
Then take a walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used. Look out for the Colobus monkeys close up and wander in the gardens which are home to a wide variety of birds and flowers.
Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views across the tea fields to the Ngong Hills.
Lunch is served about 1pm and is a three course buffet lunch from our set menu prepared with vegetables from the garden and desserts are topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows.

After lunch, walk to the Karura Forest for a walk and catch a matatu back to the city Centre for evening tea at a local restaurant and later settle down for evening drink and dinner and nightlife experience.

Day 3: Mombasa.

Day 1 Nairobi-Naivasha-Nakuru
Depart Nairobi at 0730hrs through the Rift valley Escarpement and Mt Longonot, these land forms has shaped the landscape and the lakes around this region.
0930hrs Arrive at Lake Naivasha for a cup of tea on the shores of the lake. Later on at 1015hrs take a boat to the crescent Island which was once a peninsula but now is a full island.
At 1215hrs depart from Lake Naivasha through Lake Elementaita where we will have lunch and proceed to Lake Nakuru, Visit Lake Nakuru at 1400hrs and later on check in at your Hotel for overnight Stay.
Day 2 Baringo/ Bogoria
After Breakfast depart for Lake Baringo at 0630hrs arriving at 0900hrs at the lake, tour the lake and later on settle for tea and snacks at Island Camp Baringo.

On the first day of your Safari, we start with a full day of Nairobi City- Kenya’s capital where it all began, we go to the history and heritage of the country as you acclimatize and get necessary supplies in readiness for the tour.
0930hrs Visit Giraffe Centre, a conservation Centre for Rothschild Giraffes where you can feed and kiss the Giraffes.
-1100 hrs Arrive at David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in time for baby elephant feeding session, where you will listen to conservation stories and even adopt a baby elephant.
-12 hrs Drive to Karen Blixen Museum for a brief tour and later on lunch at Tamambo Coffee Garden.
-14 hrs Visit Bomas of Kenya for cultural dances and later on see model traditional homesteads
